Illa was the one to call if you needed cheering up. She always knew how to make light of any problem. She was such a giving friend. We met at Purdue and she remained ever so dear to me. I'll miss so much about her. May her legacy of love and laughter live on in her children, grandchild, and all of us whom she touched.
